Bundy Refrigeration has announced a change to its management team as Group Sales and Marketing Director, Paolo Romeo is set to retire having been with the company for over two decades.

Marco Flores, sales manager at Bundy Italy, will now include both Germany and Hungary within his Bundy client portfolio as the Bundy Group continues to integrate and streamline their three European business units headed up by Jim Peden (Vice President Bundy Europe).

Paolo began as a structural analyst before spending the early part of his career in the automotive industry. He joined Bundy in 2001 as purchasing director for the company’s European operations and later took on sales and purchasing responsibilities for group companies both in Europe and in Latin America.

His experience in procurement and negotiations was an ideal fit for his later sales and marketing role, acting as the linchpin between Bundy and many of its global refrigeration customers. Paolo also played a pivotal role in new product development and solidifying Bundy’s reputation as the world’s leading manufacturer of heat transfer and cooling system components.

“Paolo has been a cornerstone in the evolution of Bundy, contributing significantly to our growth and success,” said Chris McGeehan, Group Chief Executive Officer. “We thank him for his dedication and expertise and wish him well in his retirement.”

Marco Flores, who joined Bundy at start of 2020 as sales manager in Italy and is no stranger to excellence. With a career spanning three decades and experience with world class organisations, Marco currently oversees a diverse portfolio of international OEMs in the refrigeration sector.

“I’m looking forward to continuing my journey with Bundy and honoured to take on the added responsibility,” said Marco.
