Wing Tube Condensers

Less Energy. Increase Storage Capacity. Maintenance Free.

Wing Tube Condensers

Wing tube technology was developed to improve the performance of the condenser and the heat-transfer capacity and energy consumption efficiency of the appliance, without compromising on critical factors such as compactness, robustness, and maintenance-free operation.

The unique wing tube design has an extended heat-dissipating surface as part of the condenser’s compact design, where the connecting refrigerant carrying tube offers continuity of material with no mechanical coupling, welding, or brazing. High heat-transfer performance is achieved with less extended surface where wider spacing between condenser fins delivers optimum air flow and prevents dust building up over time.

Tests that compared AWT with a traditional wire-on-tube condenser according to relevant standards (EN ISO 22041 and 22043) found AWT consumed significantly less electricity, saving up to 23 per cent kWh energy consumption depending on the configuration.

AWT condensers are available in a wide range of configurations with various tube sizes, 4-, 6- and 8-mm in diameter, and widths from 150-mm to 420-mm. They are available in modular heights up to 20 rows and up to eight ranks in depth. Bespoke models can be configured on application.

The compact design allows manufacturers to reduce the overall dimensions of the condensing unit box to give end-users more storage capacity.
