Bundy’s heat exchangers are precision-engineered components designed to optimise the efficiency and protect the integrity of refrigeration systems. This includes suction line and capillary tube heat exchangers, which work by transferring heat between the returning suction gas and the liquid refrigerant. The suction line heat exchanger increases refrigerant superheat and subcools the liquid flow, protecting the compressor from liquid flood-back and enhancing overall cooling performance. The capillary tube, acting as a metering device, is closely integrated for efficient subcooling and precise system operation. Together, these components improve temperature stability, energy efficiency, and reduce maintenance across domestic and commercial refrigeration appliances.

Bundy custom engineers these heat exchangers to suit a wide variety of materials, pressures, and performance standards. These can be stand-alone units or integrated within fully tested evaporator systems for domestic, commercial, and industrial refrigeration applications.
