Bundy Refrigeration, a global manufacturer of heat transfer and cooling system components for the refrigeration industry, has purchased an aluminium extrusion plant for its production facility in Pindamonhangaba in Brazil.

This is part of a strategic investment in plant facilities that began last year with the relocation of Bundy’s Maracanaú operation to a new state-of-the art factory and warehouse in the Distrito industrial district to be closer to its main customer.

Following this move, the company has invested further in its Brazilian operation, this time at its Pindamonhangaba facility in the state of São Paulo where it has installed a new aluminium extrusion plant to produce aluminium tube for core refrigeration cooling products, as well as for stove parts and heater elements.

Wenceslau Carvalho, Bundy’s Vice President, Americas said: “We are pleased to announce the addition of a €1 million aluminium extrusion plant to our Pindamonhangaba facility. This strategic investment not only enhances our production capabilities but also strengthens our commitment to deliver the highest quality refrigeration cooling products to our valued customers, further consolidating our position as a global leader in the refrigeration industry.”

The new extrusion plant is now fully operational.
