Bundy Refrigeration, a leading global manufacturer of heat transfer and cooling system components for some of the world’s leading commercial and domestic refrigeration appliances, is delighted to announce the appointment of Chris Johnstone as its new Head of Finance for Europe.
In this role, Chris will oversee the financial operations and performance of Bundy’s three European manufacturing plants located in Germany, Italy, and Hungary. He will report directly to the Group Chief Finance Officer, overseeing the management and auditing of the Group’s financial affairs across Bundy’s European operating units.
Chris Johnstone brings a wealth of experience to Bundy Refrigeration. Prior to joining Bundy, Chris held various senior finance positions in both the private and public sectors. He spent seven years at a top-tier investment bank, where he gained valuable expertise in finance, operational management, and risk analysis. Additionally, Chris held key financial reporting and management roles at a prominent oil major before transitioning to an energy services group. His professional journey also encompasses senior finance positions in construction, technology startups, and the public sector.
Known for his proficiency in implementing multi-company ERP systems and automating financial and operational reporting, Chris has played a crucial role in providing strategic advice to boards on resource allocation, business investments, and restructuring. His ability to foster persuasive relationships, lead teams, and deliver clear analysis make him a valuable addition to the Bundy Refrigeration team.

Chris Johnstone holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Glasgow and is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
