Our facility in Curitiba in the South of Brazil is equipped with two tube lines and specialises in producing a variety of components, including Wire-On-Tube (WOT) condensers, door warmers, wrap-around evaporators, helical condensers, forced-draft condensers, and skin condensers.
Our Curitiba production plant is focused on leveraging advanced manufacturing techniques to deliver high-quality products tailored to meet both local and international market demands.
Known for its expertise in roll bond evaporators, our Pindamonhangaba or Pinda facility, situated in the Paraíba Valley in the state of Sao Paulo, features semi-automated no-frost lines and three assembly cells. It also has its own aluminium extrusion plant to produce aluminium tube for core refrigeration cooling products, heater elements and stove parts.
This ensures that Bundy Brazil can offer innovative solutions that align with the latest trends in refrigeration technology. Our expertise in heat exchangers and roll bond evaporators is now being applied to cooling EV battery packs on buses, cars, planes, and boats.

Dedicated to the bending process of refrigeration door warmers and skin condensers, our Maracanaú facility in northeastern Brazil, plays a crucial role in Bundy’s production chain, ensuring precision and efficiency in component manufacturing. Bundy is renowned for its cost-effective, energy-efficient solutions for eliminating condensate around door openings on freezers and fridge-freezers. The facility also produces skin condensers to transfer heat from refrigeration tubing through the exterior wall (skin) of the cabinet to the surrounding atmosphere.
In addition, Maracanaú has a specialist cell dedicated to producing spark plug electrodes for automatic lighting of gas stoves and ovens to meet the demand of the residential, hospitality, catering, and outdoor cooking sectors in Brazil and export markets.
Take a closer look at what we do.
Journey of a filter dryer
Bundy Refrigeration manufactures precision engineered dryer filters to protect refrigeration systems from contaminants and moisture.
Copper tube is placed on a high-speed lathe to shape and size the ends to customer and industry-standard dimensions.
The tube is then scored to facilitate shaping and cutting. Fine mesh metal screens are then integrated to capture particles as small as 15-25 microns. Open ends of the tube are soldered and sealed with custom inlet/outlet extensions.
The Bundy seal of approval is stamped on each filter dryer before going through a series of quality tests that includes pressure testing and checking moisture content.
Bundy’s dedicated filter dryer machine is capable of tailoring dimensions – body diameter, wall thickness and features like extended capillary tubes for commercial refrigerators.
Units are labelled, packed with protective caps, and shipped after rigorous performance validation.
Aluminium Tube Line
Our aluminium tube production line in Brazil manufactures aluminium tube used in refrigeration systems for heat transfer applications like condensers and evaporators.
Utilising a single revolving wheel to drive a continuous rotary extrusion (CRE) process, the production line is capable of manufacturing aluminium tube of unlimited length and external diameter of up to 30mm.
An aluminium rod (12.0mm in diameter) is fed into the machine through a single groove on the periphery of the wheel and is then transferred to the extrusion zone and die, where it is shaped into the desired tube diameter and wall thickness.
The machine can produce both round and multi-port tubes in various sizes to meet customer specifications.
Its patented induction heated tooling system enables continuous extrusion capable of wall thicknesses as low as 0.35mm.
Along the production route, tubes are inspected for defects and dimensional accuracy before being packaged for shipping to customers.
Bundy’s aluminium tube line offers a capacity of 1800 tons per year.
We aim to advance Bundy’s technologies through strategic partnerships based on sound technology and shared synergies. A partnership with the University of Santa Catarina (Polo) grants us access to cutting-edge refrigeration laboratories for development and testing, while our engineering team is also collaborating with our German colleagues to develop the energy-saving WingTube technology here in Brazil.
