Aluminium Tube
Bundy’s aluminium tube is a critical element in modern refrigeration systems, chosen for its exceptional combination of lightweight strength, thermal efficiency, and resistance to corrosion.
Produced at Bundy’s advanced facility in Brazil, the aluminium tube line employs a continuous rotary extrusion (CRE) technique, enabling the manufacture of tubes with unlimited lengths and an external diameter of up to 30mm.
This production process allows for precise control over wall thickness (as low as 0.35mm) and shape, offering both round and multi-port tube profiles to meet a wide variety of refrigeration and heat exchanger applications.
High Conductivity
The high conductivity of aluminium makes these tubes highly effective in dissipating heat, enabling use in condensers, evaporators, heat exchangers, and heater elements.
The internal and external surfaces can be tailored to customer specifications – and offer enhanced performance in applications where weight, energy consumption, and service life are key concerns.
The ongoing inspection during production and the use of patented induction heated tooling ensures consistent quality and dimensional accuracy.
Versatile Cooling System Component
Bundy’s aluminium tube is used in refrigeration systems in domestic appliances and commercial settings, supporting refrigeration units in supermarkets, restaurants, medical storage, and special industrial applications. Aluminium tube is an essential component in Bundy’s energy-saving WingTube technology and is also being used in innovative sectors, including cooling systems for electric vehicle (EV) battery packs on buses, cars, planes, and boats.
Aluminium tube is available in a variety of coatings to further improve corrosion resistance and hygiene. This flexible, high-performance product is a cornerstone of contemporary refrigeration engineering, and is aligned with leading global trends in sustainability, manufacturing efficiency, and quality.
